Back in 2011, Back of the Ferry attended the launch of Two Birds Golden Ale at Hart’s Hotel. Back in 2011 we used to write more regularly as well about our beer experiences – and the launch for the full treatment.
Over the years Two Birds Golden and Two Birds Sunset have been dependable go-tos if you see it on tap. In fact, so enamoured were illiards and I of the Two Birds Golden it was one of two beers we served at our combined 50th.

So it was some dismay that I read that Two Birds has decided to discontinue the production of Two Birds Golden. RIP. True to quirky form though, Mr Liquor has now started to sell it. No doubt an opportunistic purchase. So it means Illiards and I can have one last stubby of a truly favoured drop.
