I discovered Coral Sea Brewing Co quite by accident. When you search for “Craft Breweries in Cairns” in Google – this wonderful little establishment doesn’t come up. So it was a pleasant discovery when I spied their Brewing equipment in a corridor next to Sauce Brewing in Cairns. Quick search for Coral Sea Brewing, and there it is in Bank Lane, Cairns.
What a fabulous little brewery experience. And I mean, little. This hole in a wall Tiki Bar is a great place to drink beer and chill out. They have one of the greatest happy hours I’ve ever seen – 7pm – 9pm, when they are open, $6 schooners. How good is that?
The beers are fine, but I’m devastated that the Tropic Wheat wasn’t on. I went the tasting paddle and really enjoyed the IPA. The walls are covered with memorabilia and coasters scrawled on by past visitors.
Coral Sea Brewing is a t-shirt worthy venue. How could you go past such an awesome logo. If you visit Cairns don’t miss out on Coral Sea Brewing. Looks like they are open 7 days a week. And that happy hour(S) would be the perfect time.
