A Portuguese Stout. Yep, I was suprised also but apparently it is a style of beer that they are famous for. This one is a cracker. Black and roasty with that thick, vegemite taste that drinkers of Tooths Sheaf Stout will appreciate. Being named ‘Tonica’ should not throw you off the scent. This is a beer to appreciate and consume slowly. This particular sample was courtesy of Sydney radio identity Brendan Jones and we chose to accompany it with a selection of 1970’s classic Australian hors d’oeuvres (for no particular reason).
Has been seen on special around southern Sydney bottleshops meaning a container washed up on beach down there.
No concerns. Visit the Coral website for more suprises.
