A fabulous day on Sydney Harbour as we got to perform some long overdue induction ceremonies on the way to a traditional Christmas event of a slaughtering at the Manly Skiff. The harbour was abuzz with pleasure boats, yachts and venerable MV Freshwater which has its 40th birthday later this month.
Inductees #1 and #2 have known Tim for over 40 years. A lunch term resident of the deep North Snore, Tim’s been venturing to the insular peninsula more and more as he makes a late attempt to master longboard surfing.

Favourite beverage: Single Malt whiskey or an IPA
Favourite sport to spectate: Can’t split the Bledisloe or the Ashes
Area of trivial expertise: The holy trinity of Lou Reed, David Bowie and Iggy Pop
Favourite pub and why: The William Wallace and Selina‘s are honourable mentions, but the Newport Arms in its glory days of the 1980s is hard to go past.
Induction ceremony performed by #1, #2, #88 and #116, with an extensive post induction debrief performed at the Manly Skiff Club.
