One of the most pleasing things about the craft beer evolution has been the growth of regional breweries. Given I’ve spent most of 2020 (and the start of 2021) restricted to NSW – I’ve visited parts of this great state I haven’t visited for a while.
Breweries have sprung up in Dalmeny (look it up), Jervis Bay, Armidale, Deepwater, Tumut, Bellingen and Mullumbimby just to name a few (and yes not just in 2020). Amazingly for such a big regional centre – Coffs Harbour has missed out. That’s changing. King Tide Brewing is coming soon. Their beers are contract brewed but they are developing a brew pub. Good luck to them and hopefully we can get back up to that part of the world and try it out.
