Gayle – gay ale (and cider)

When I was in Broken Hill, I stumbled across a couple of new beverages with a unique twist. Gayle Ale and Gayle Cider are distributed by Australia’s self proclaimed “first and only gay beer and cider company” – Gayle Beverages. Not surprisingly, I found these drinks in the fridges of The Palace Hotel, given The Palace’s proud ties to all things “LGBTIQA+”. Clever name and both the cider and pale ale are very potable. Not made by Gayle, but for Gayle by a South Australian cider manufacturer and “an award-winning” SA brewer (which I think might be Swell Brewing).
