At last my first local beer! The hotel bar choice is limited to either the Kingfisher or Budweiser despite Stella, Hoegaarden and (yes wait for it) Fosters appearing to be on tap.
The Kingfisher is a unique taste the label tells it’s all “the finest malted barley and hops” except it doesn’t really taste that malty. It’s more akin to a Qingdao crossed with a bland something or other; very difficult to put a specific ingredient to it; maybe it’s the water. Nonetheless it’s wet, cold and welcoming after a mid 30’s day.
