There’ll be a veritable slew of induction posts over the next few days as this correspondent and illiards felt like a priest at a mass Korean wedding inducting 10 new members. A team bonding session needed to held offsite and whilst some of the lads came from as far afield as Prestons (no I don’t know where that is either) a northern beaches venue was chosen. Aah, the pull that the ferry has.
Ferry etiquette was clearly spelt out to the large crowd and our group was augmented by a member of the Todd River SLSC.
Welcome boys.
Reblogged this on Loose Head Prop and commented:
Fortunately I was able yo make a trip to manly to finally get inducted into the Back of the Ferry club.
What a great way to get to and from work. I miss my ferry days
Really great effort in bringing on all the new recruits – I’ve been waiting with baited breath for the barrage of posts…. clearly there needs to be an alteration in the joining rules: thou canst join, but if no posts are forthcoming, then the compromising penalty picture (to be taken at the same time as the induction photo) will be posted unceremoniously 6 weeks after induction 🙂

Good to hear from you. Very few members have ever taken the next step and become correspondents. It isn’t a prerequisite to membership.
It was a fine function with a good post ferry session at the 4 Pines and an even better post 4 Pines session at my place. Ended very, very late.
What’s your news?
