Montieths, from NZs west coast, seem to be rolling out the new brews into Oz with alacrity. Your correspondent tried the Celtic Red and was mightily impressed.
You may remember my fondness for Monteiths Golden Ale. Well I like it’s brother, the bloodnut, for the same reason. Both finish with a fantastic chunky maltiness. The Celtic Red starts out a little like Coopers Sparkling, with a nice strong bite. A definite keeper.
