The Red Angus bottle craps on about “Pure Grain Fed Beer”, but then doesn’t go anywhere with that tagline. At the end of the day, however, this is a bloody good beer. It’s aromatic with a distinctive taste that lasts well after the swallow. Why they haven’t capitalised on the name and stitched up a deal with Steersons or Kingsleys is beyond because I could see myself polishing off a few of these as I clean up a t-Bone.
So the fact that de Bortolis had a good idea to create a brewery and then seem to have forgotten about it shouldn’t deter you from having a lash at this. Get into it.
