Some more progress has been made on the recently re-named BotF Bar Review Map. There is now a satisfying number of empty schooner glasses around Circular Quay. The lone full schooner at Quay Bar was knocked off last night, on an evening perfect for outdoor imbibing. The Quay Bar has a great locale, but the feel is not great. Best discovery for me this year has been the roof-top bar at the Metropolitan.
Given that the members of BotF are moving into holiday mode, the focus on the BotF Bar Review Map will shift to the insular peninsula – where there are currently plenty of full schooners waiting to be emptied.
Last ferry for the year will be caught this evening, but it will be a quiet journey with many BotFers having already departed for remote locales.

I note that the ECQ has not been included on this map. The ECQ sits above the Quay bar with open floor to ceiling windows (part of the Quay Grand).
actually this bar is not above the quay bar at all…
