An unflexible flight and an early finish to a workshop means an opportunity to hit an untried bar and try a new beer. Couldn’t read the label, but knew I hadn’t this offering from Mildura Brewing.
“Bloody hell, I’ve ordered a light”. Sun Light is, for a light beer, a good lager. 3% and with no soapiness or hollowness. Full mouthfeel and a mild pleasant after taste. Bottle says citrus and I’d agree. Good light beer (almost an oxymoron).
Like Bar Hum Bug too. One to bring the missus to. Cool music, low lighting and an intimate feel to the joint. I’ll be back.

Mildura Brewery produces a number of corkers and it is well worth going to Mildura to visit the Brewery and sample. Of course Dan Murphy’s supplies them too.
On the side, Mildura use to have prohibition so there isn’t the normal ‘toilet tile’ corner pubs like other towns. A bit strange. Also well worth enjoying Stefano’s restaurants – he has a pizza kitchen, a steak house and a white-table cloth place which are all worth a run.
