The Grand in the ‘gong has been reviewed and is on the BotF Bar Review Map. Special treat after a post offside dinner was to stroll into the Grand for a post prandial and find out that Thirsty Merc were on live. Outstanding. As good a sing a long band as is there is. Rai Thistlethwaite’s keyboards are excellent as well. Crowd was up for it.
Beer of the day was Three Kings Dry Lager. There is also a cider and a Vodka and Ginger(!). I was underwhelmed by the lager. Priced at a premium, tasted mainstream. Their website would have to throw out all the warnings you’d need.
