BotF is always keenly aware of new beers in the bottlo. Like a seagull onto a sick prawn we were on top of a new beer introduced by XXXX. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy. XXXX Summer Bright Lager is a low carb beer. Advertised as full strength at 4.2%, it is not full of anything except itself. A 330ml bottle of tasteless beer-like-liquid it is very disappointing. At $42 a case it is also a rip-off (maybe that was the bottlo).
The only novelty about this beverage is the underside of the bottle tops which might be encouraging a drinking game. As you can see, the bottle tops have one of the Rock, Paper, Scissor logos on it. Do a couple of blokes sharing a six pack rely upon the lids to determine who has to scull their anaemic, watery, tasteless beer first? Not sure, but this is the first and last time I’ll drink this Sol wannabe. At least Sol tastes like something.
