BotF is in Perth and took the opportunity to visit an iconic Perth Pub, the Subiaco Hotel. This is a magnificent place. Beautiful old building, inside and out. Wide range of tap beers and BotF joyfully sampled a few local Little Creatures.
Also sampled a stubbie of Swan Draught, which noticeably displays its Sandgroper origins. BotF remembers when Swan Black briefly dominated the Australian beer market. Those days of dominance are well and over even in WA. The BWS bottle had Swan and Emu buried at the bottom of the fridge with the Matilda Bay range far more prominent.
sWAn Draught is ok but not worth going out of your way for.
