Australia Day ’10 at first take appeared forgetful. Barely a breath of wind. A still calm ocean with majestically smooth, though small waves. Another foot would have seen the lads storming the beaches. Oompa attempted to get the platoon to at least get in for a swim. Oddly though trooper Tame declared he was going in; trooper Lombok heartily concurred and the platoon were quick to fall in line, including a reticent Oompa who was more in favour of a refreshing dip.
Having been peered by the troupe, Oompa along with the others quickly found conditions to be markedly better than as viewed from the trenchs.
Now and again a tidy little face rolled in providing enough to keep the lads busy.
Gusticus went freestyle, stripped back to natures barest elements he stormed the sea sans weapon…unleashed he wallowed with abandon enjoying natures finest….he later traded places with Oompa to get a taste of slides on offer.
