Induction – Nick #173

Sydney turned on a cracker for the last working day of daylight saving. Next week, the Back of the Ferry will revert to romantic sunsets on the journey. So a perfect afternoon for a couple of inductions. The Jones family of the Waikato are big Back of the Ferry fans and two more members of the family joined the ranks of the BotF inductees. And the supervising crowd was chockful of luminaries, including an all too rare showing of #1, #2, #3 and #5.

Nick is a craft beer aficionado and proficient on Untappd. He was looking forward to the post induction festivities as much as the voyage.

Favourite beverage: Hazy IPA

Favourite sport to spectate: Rugby Union (All Blacks and Waikato)

Area of trivial expertise: Sport

Favourite pub of all time and why: Saint Leonards Kingsland. Biggest beer garden in Auckland and I watched it get built. It is two minutes from home and the beer is excellent.

Induction conducted by #1, #2, #3, #5, #103, #160, #172. Post induction festivities were had at many Brookvale breweries and then back in Manly.
