A trip to Gladesville to visit friends and a hitherto unexplored brewery meant a ride on a different back of the ferry. The F5 travels under the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Gladesville Bridge and the 30 minute voyage to Huntley Point is very pleasant. #threepace
Village Days Brewery is a 5 minutes Uber from Huntley Point ferry wharf. It has been open since July 2023 and the locals love it. The punters poured in to escape the heat and celebrate the end of another working week.
No shortage of variety from the taps. Hefe, Lager, pale ale, IPAs. 5 choices for the paddle. Whilst I love a Hefeweizen the stand out for mine was one-off Blood Orange Ale made to celebrate the fortieth birthday of one of the founders.
It was the mark of the company and good food and good beers that we were still there for final drinks. The citizens of Gladesville are very fortunate.
