Travellers catching planes at Terminal 2 of Sydney Airport were able to enjoy a Coopers near gate 40 or even an occasional unique at Beer Deluxe. Both are now gone, and the only option for those not accessing the Virgin Lounge is the Great Northern Bar where the Coopers Bar used to be.
Carlton has stacked the taps with CUB staples like 4 Pines Pale and Balter XPA and 3 versions of Great Northern – the Original, Super Crisp and Ginger Beer. And the prices are Qatari like. $19.21 for a Schint of Original. Fark me. Back to the lounge for me.
