The takeover of Manly Wharf by the Artemus Group owned Felons Brewing has continued with Felons Seafood opening in the last couple of weeks in the old Bavarian Beer Cafe site. The makeover has been comprehensive with a totally new layout replacing the big square Bavarian bar.
I was in the mood for a beer before the ferry, and you are allowed to just sit at the bar and have a bevvy. A cut down tap list (when compared to the Felons Wharf Bar) is available and includes a couple of lagers and an IPA.
I arrived in between lunch and dinner so a limited snack and pizza menu is available and it looks interesting. If I had more time I’d give the Abalone Schnitzel Sandwich a nudge.
I’m pretty sure there’s one more Felon’s venue to come in the site of the old Aldi and Sake and El Camino are on their last legs and soon to be replaced by new venues. Never dull in Manly.
