Congratulations to Akasha Brewing Company and all that sail in it, but especially head brewer, Dave Padden. Dave and I worked together in financial services in the mid 90s. I’m still in financial services. Dave escaped years ago.
Dave is easily one of the finest brewers of an IPA in Australia. And a selection of his greatest hits (out of 239 different brews according to Untappd) are on the taps at Hotel Sweeney until Sunday.
Wooden Leg (a triple IPA), Lupulin Fog (a cracking NEIPA), Black Smith (a very fine Black IPA) are amongst the beers on tap.
Goodonya, Dave. It hasn’t been an easy journey – but you’ve cracked the 10 years – so hats off mate.
