Meryl has been on a number of FNQ beer adventures with #1. Without Meryl I wouldn’t have been able to experience the craft beer delights of Mackay, Townsville and Cairns. She has a sense of adventure and is extremely tolerant of my penchant for breweries and local delicacies like the savoury mince of Mackay.
Favourite beverage: Sparkling wine, but Champagne is preferred
Favourite sport to spectate: State of Origin. Live at Lang Park
Area of trivial expertise: Barbecue
Favourite Pub: The Epping Hotel, because it is where I started going out to pubs. An honourable mention goes to the Kardomah Cafe.
