#AirportDrinking in Phnom Penh

International air travel in Asia is always pretty straight forward – touch wood. Passport booths are staffed and most countries are keen to get travellers in so that they can start spending their hard earneds in the local economy.

The complete opposite happens at places like LA or London where you queue for a long time and you are treated like excrement. Not sure why we are allies.

I’m sadly leaving Cambodia after a week in Siem Reap, Battambang and Phnom Penh. It has been great. Not my last visit. I’m at the Heineken Bat called Le Mekong. I haven’t seen the slogan “Same Great Taste in 192 Countries” before. I’m not even 25% there to the 192 – but I’m going to give it a shot.

The map of Cambodia on the wall is a ripper. They’ve done a great job of depicting the two water ways. The Mekong and the Tonle Sap are critical to Cambodia. A nice way to finish my second Cambodian trip.
