U bar. Great little hole in the wall bar just down from southern cross train station. 3 sizes of draughts beer. Pot, schooner and jug of Boags Draught, Heinekin, Blonde and XXXX Gold. Fridge full of stubbies and a blackboard full of $6 shooters. Longnecks of Coopers Green as well. Plastic glasses are a minus.
Graffiti covered walls and low lighting give the place atmosphere and the unique feature is rules for choosing the next song. Top bar open from 3pm til late.
Bar is on the corner of Spencer and King Streets.
Only gripe – plastic glasses. Maybe a defence against pissed backpackers.

The Ubar is actually thecnr of Spencer and Flinders, (King St runs parallel to Flinders). You must have gone there on a quiet night. This place is a backpackers and is not very often quiet, in fact I am surprised you were able to unstick your shoes fromthe floor. The reason for the plastic glasses is because on most nights this place makes the Coogee Bay look like a Salvation Army Hall.
