Snow premium light in Napa – disappointing all round

After lunch with a former co-worker from Beijing, BotF had a quick libation in a bar that has been opened very recently. Bars tend to be unihabited in the afternoon – even though many are open from 11am. That may explain why I was so underwhelmed by this bar. It appeared no staff were around, and I was almost going to serve myself when a bloke lying behind the bar woke up with a start.

Napa is large place with plenty of pool tables and a mezzanine level, that would definitely have height restriction issues with most Sydney councils (no issue in China). It has the potential to go off, but there was something a little generic about the set-up.

The less said for the beer, the better. Snow at one stage was the largest seller of beer in the world (according to Reuters), and there are plenty of versions of Snow in the bottlos and supermarkets of China. I hadn’t had this one, and will never re-visit this soapy, icky beer ever again. It is ticked off.
